Oceanview Shutters & Blinds is run by Kelly Gray and Lee McCloskey. Between us, we’ve got over 30 years of hands-on experience, and we genuinely love what we do.
We’ve worked in all sorts of homes – modern builds, older properties, bays, big openings, and tricky-shaped windows – and there’s very little we haven’t come across before. Having experience on the manufacturing side of shutters as well as installation means we really understand how shutters work, what’s possible, and how to get the best result for your home.

Various Shutter Styles Available
We supply and install a wide range of shutter styles, all made to measure and finished to suit your space.
Some materials work better in certain rooms – for example, waterproof shutters are ideal for bathrooms or kitchens, and tracked shutters suit wider openings. We’ll always talk this through with you and help you choose what works best for your home.
Full Height Shutters
Full-height shutters offers a timeless, clean look with great privacy and light control.
Cafe Style Shutters
Cafe style shutters are ideal for windows where full privacy is not required, They cover the bottom half of the window, creating privacy at the lower level whilst allowing light into the room through the top of the window.
Solid Panel Shutters
Inspired by traditional Victorian window coverings, solid shutters offer optimal light blockout and privacy. Providing a more time-honoured feel, solid panels are opened and closed to control light into the room. Available in Full Height, Café, Tier-on-Tier and Tracked styles.
Tier On-Tier Shutters
Tier-on-tier shutters cover the whole of the window but feature top and bottom panels which open independently of each other. These popular shutters enable versatile control of light and privacy in the daily use of your shutters.
Shapped Shutters
Our shutters are custom built to fit any shape or style of window – however unusual they may be. With shutters, you won’t compromise or conceal the architectural design of your unique windows– our beautiful bespoke shutters will enhance
them and retain their originality.
Tracked Shutters
Tracked shutters simply slide on a track, providing easy access through patio, sliding or bifold doors. This type of shutter is also ideal for very wide windows. There are two types of tracked shutters:
Bifold – An even number of panels fold back
Bi-pass – Panels slide behind one another to create an opening
Tracked shutters can also be used as a stylish and versatile room divider.
Shutters with Blinds
Perfect for rooms where darkening is a priority. Blinds are positioned in a specially designed frame behind the louvres and are operated independently of the shutter. Pleated blinds are available in a choice of block out cellular fabrics and can be manually operated or motorised. Motorised Roller blinds are available in a range of fabrics including sheer, translucent and block out.

2. Free Home Survey
We’ll visit your home at a time that suits you, take accurate measurements, bring samples, and talk you through the different options. You’ll get honest advice based on what works best for your space.
3. Clear, Written Quote
After the survey, we’ll send you a clear, written quote that breaks everything down. No hidden costs, no surprises, just straightforward pricing.
4. Order Placed
If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll place your order with a 50% deposit and confirm all the details with you.
5. Manufacture & Delivery
Your shutters are made to measure and prepared for delivery:
- Standard delivery: around 10–12 weeks
- Express delivery: around 7–9 weeks
We’ll keep you updated along the way.
6. Installation
Once your shutters are ready, we’ll arrange installation and fit them ourselves. The remaining balance is paid once everything is finished and you’re completely happy.

Our shutters are finished with high-quality paints designed to last. Like most interior finishes, long-term direct sunlight can cause some gradual fading over many years, but this is minimal and not something most customers ever notice.
Shutters are excellent for controlling light, but they don’t create complete blackout like some blinds or curtains. They allow you to adjust the louvres to let in as much or as little light as you like while maintaining privacy.
